I'm one of the lead developers on a workforce management platform that helps service companies plan staff, vehicles, and daily operations. I own large parts of the Resource Planning Schedule, the platform's core planning surface, where I built drag-and-drop assignment with collision detection, snapshot-based undo/redo, optimistic locking with crash recovery, and live schedule validation against a constraint-solving engine. I work across the whole stack: a React and Material UI frontend, a layered Node.js, Express and TypeORM API on PostgreSQL, Auth0 authentication, a dedicated worker syncing Fortnox financial data over WebSockets, and GCP infrastructure defined in Terraform.

I worked with Ingka's Edge Team, a group recognized internally as a go-to resource for cross functional collaboration, specializing in rapid prototypes and turning ideas into fast realities. My main focus was a customer-facing service running globally across several regions, where I took a new interactive frontend feature from proof of concept through to production. The work spanned client-side asset handling and caching, internationalization across a wide range of markets and languages, and a semantic accessibility pass, together with the supporting Python and FastAPI endpoints behind it.

I developed and maintained three internal booking and resource management applications used across multiple countries. Working across the full stack, from frontend to backend and cloud, I shipped new features, improved performance on data-heavy views, and implemented multilingual support spanning both the interfaces and the automated emails and notifications the systems send. The frontend work was built on IKEA's Skapa design system, with accessibility requirements applied throughout.

At J2Sourcing, I led the frontend development to modernize their legacy sales system, transitioning it into a browser-based web platform. I collaborated closely with the backend developer to plan the architecture and design efficient data structures that made the new system powerful, maintainable, and scalable for future growth.

As Team Manager I led a cross-functional team of eight — software developers, a Scrum Master and a UX Engineer — alongside my own client assignments. I ran regular one-to-ones and individual development planning, and created space for knowledge sharing across a team whose members spent their days at different client sites. A large part of the role was keeping people supported and motivated through changing assignments, and helping each of them grow in the direction they wanted to go.

As Tech Lead and Frontend Developer, I led the frontend work on two internal systems for office space and resource management, which scaled to global use as the organization adapted to hybrid working through the Covid-19 pandemic. During my second internship, I developed data migration systems that streamed data between databases via an internal API. Adapting to the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, I built automated functions that gathered and analyzed client statistics to provide better business insights. I also created an internal weather dashboard integrating external API data for historical and forecast visualization.

At my first internship, I developed an automated invoice system integrating the company’s internal system with its billing provider’s API. I also built a client invitation system with customizable templates for email and SMS delivery, and an internal dashboard that provided real-time updates for both the company and its clients.

I ran the Helsingborg store with full responsibility for staffing, scheduling, budget and results. From January 2014 I took on a second store in parallel and led both locations and their teams at the same time. The work covered recruitment, coaching and daily operations, along with the forecasting and scheduling that keeps a retail floor correctly staffed — the same planning problems I build software for today.
