At IKEA I’m working closely with both engineers and managers, currently working on three internal booking and resource management applications.
In this role I’m working across both frontend, backend, and cloud to both maintain the current applications used in several countries across the world, in addition implementing new features, as well as implementing different languages in both the applications and in the external user communications (e.g. e-mails).

At J2Sourcing I started and lead the frontend development efforts to modernize their sales system, transitioning the codebase to a browser-based web platform. I collaborated closely with the projects backend developer to strategize the project planning and design data structures that could bring the system to life in a powerful and sustainable manner.

As a Team Manager at GESHDO, I concurrently led a team, consisting of Software Developers, a Scrum Master, and a User Experience Engineer. My primary goal was to create, with the rest of the team, a highly cross-functional environment that emphasized knowledge sharing and motivation to drive continuous improvement. This included facilitating an atmosphere that inspired both personal and professional growth to ensure that both the team and it’s members remained strong in their roles and kept a dynamic, adaptable, and solution oriented mindset.

As Tech Lead and Frontend Developer at IKEA I worked closely with both engineers and managers to enhance and extend two of IKEA’s internal systems for office space and resource management, particularly during the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
My role was to create and maintain new features in the frontend in collaboration with the team, quickly adapting to the needs of the users as the applications usage grew rapidly across the world, as well as planning the tasks and sprints in collaboration with the product owner and ensuring that the team was working towards a common goal effectively.

At my second internship at Procommerca I developed data migration systems which streamed data between databases through an internal API. Adapting to the development of Covid-19, I built a series of automated functions which gathered and calculated statistics of the clients to give a better overview of their business development during this time. Finally, I built an internal weather application, where I gathered data on both history and forecasts through an external API and processed the data in NodeJS.

At my first internship I developer an automatized invoice system, which integrated Procommercas internal system with their invoice handler’s API. Following this, I built an invitation system for their clients which consisted both of the creation of unique invitations by template combinations, and sending the invitations through email and SMS. Finally I built an internal dashboard with real time updating for both Procommerca and their clients.
