Harald Görtz

GESHDO specializes in IT consulting with a focus on tailored solutions and rapid delivery. Working across cloud platforms, backend development, and system integration to help clients solve complex technical challenges.

I have been part of the engineering team behind Telavox's cloud-native UCaaS platform since 2016. Much of my work has been in identity and access management — building integrations with Microsoft Entra ID and implementing OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect flows. I have also worked on embedded integrations for Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and Google Workspace. Since joining, I have worked with Spring Boot as the core backend framework, and led the migration of legacy parts of the codebase from a proprietary in-house framework to Spring Boot, improving testability and maintainability. Alongside backend work, I have built and maintained frontend features using React and TypeScript throughout my time here.

I worked on graphical simulation software for quarrying and mining operations, a search and indexing tool for laboratory results, and a license management system for controlling tool access. It was a good environment for learning to care about correctness and writing software that behaves predictably.

I worked within the compiler technology research group, doing testing, documentation, and tooling development. A good introduction to working in a technical environment where precision and clear communication matter.
